Gordon J Lovie was brought up in the North East of Scotland. His father was a fish salesman from Fraserburgh, his mother is originally from Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides, and lives there today.

Gordon's "WITNESS" album is a self penned CD album of his own Christian Testimonial experiences, recorded and produced at Floortom Productions in Clola, Aberdeenshire.

The songs reflect his experiences throughout his conversion to born again Christian, and the subsequent changes within his life since 2004.

A passionate writer and lyricist, coupled with his messages of witness, integrate in the production of all his songwriting work and include a second album of "HOMESONGS" providing more individual singles for independant download from the "Soundclick" website on the Downloads page.

Gordon is the Territorial Envoy (Corps Officer) of the Salvation Army (Findochty Corps), where his wife, Ann has now also been installed as a Territorial Envoy.
 
Ann has also recently been appointed as Divisional Prayer Co ordinator for North Scotland Division.

Gordon and Ann have associated with the Salvation Army since the start of their new Christian life in 2004, and attend as many Army events as possible, as well as constantly training in all ministries in accordance with God's Mission, the Mission of the Salvation Army and their own vision as called upon by God.

Gordon and Ann have been blessed with four wonderful grandchildren.
(Abbie, Brooke, Matthew and Hadley).

Gordon was born in Oban in 1964, brought up in Fraserburgh for the first thirteen years, and then Aberdeen for the following teen years where he was a pupil at Aberdeen Grammar School.
